Medical Yoga stomach/intestines/diet
Research shows that diet has a major impact on both the physical body and our mental health. Even though we know this, it is not always so easy to make the "right choices" in relation to what we put in our mouths. Research also shows that, among other things, stress, breathing and sleep affect our hormones, which in turn affect what we want. The supply of ''unhealthy matters'' is greater than ever. Many people are in the famous ''time crunch'' and constantly use ready-made food. If you pay attention to your body, you may have started to feel how different types of food and drink affect the body.
There are many opinions about what ''healthy food'' is. The latest research shows that Norway is one of the countries in Europe with the most obesity. We also know that weight has a close connection with well-being.
Many people today have challenges with obesity, stomach/intestinal problems, food allergies and other digestive problems. This has unfortunately become one of the western challenges.
When you do yoga, the accumulation of harmful cholesterol in the blood is prevented, among other things. Yoga strengthens both internal and external abdominal muscles, for example the muscles involved in bowel movements.
Yoga also helps balance the production of endocrine glands, hormones and balances and activates the internal organs involved in digestion.

For deg som er yogalærer kan dette sertifiseringsprogrammet bidra til hvordan du kan legge til rette for individuell oppfølging, men også hvis du ønsker å tilby yoga som arena for grupper med utfordringer som nevnt ovenfor.

Det rettes søkelys på tarmens mikrobiom og hvordan dette påvirker både tarmens helse, betennelsesaktiviteten i kroppen, og sinnets tilstand.
Sammenhengen mellom kosthold, livstil og de vanligste tarmsykdommene, som matallergi/intoleranse, irritabel tarm og inflammatorisk tarmsykdom belyses.
Det blir undervist i yogaprogrammer som støtter mage-tarmfunksjonen og vagusnerven.
